MARKS GATE is located in UK and falls within the Borough of Barking and Dagenham. The area is cut-off from surrounding Muslim populated areas by a dual carriage way and farm lands. The transport links to those areas is also not very good.
Our charity MGMC is a non-profit organisation established by dedicated Muslim Brothers and Sisters striving to serve our growing community in Marks Gate. Our members comprise of culturally diverse Sunni Muslims who live &/or work in Marks Gate.
We have been hiring the local community hall. However, the main hall is not always available and it does not have adequate space to accommodate both Men and Woman. MGMC has been looking for a suitable place to build the Masjid for 10 years now. The real-estate increasing prices in Marks Gate has always been a significant challenge to overcome. Now if we don’t take the opportunity to secure a place for masjid immediately, we might be facing or even loosing the chance to have a permanent place for Masjid in near future.
Eid-ul Fitr' 1442AH/ 2021 Prayer and Eid Event of Marks Gate Muslim Community (MGMC).
