Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Allah said: ‘Spend, O son of Adam, and I shall spend on you.

It’s a sad reality that we’re all facing all these, but with the help of Allah (SW) and support of the community, the MGMC continues to provide vital services to the community. It’s at times like this we realise how important to secure a place for our daily prayer and praying together in the community is to our daily lives.

With just a one-off donation of £100 (or Standing Order of £40 per month), you can be the shining light that helps the MGMC to continue to provide key services and saves for future prayer place. Key services such as Jummah Hall rental cost, MGMC Academy support, Ramadan Taraweeh & Ifter event, Eid Salah and Events.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"The best day on which the sun rises is Friday". (Shahih Muslim)

This is usually our day of congregation, when our centre are full for the special midday prayer, where we sit quietly listening to the Khutbah (sermon). It is a blessed day weekly!

Even though the prayer centre is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus, we should try to benefit as much as possible from the blessings of Friday. Make sure you never miss charity on the best day of the week, a day of so many virtues!

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"The most beloved of actions are the most constant." [al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Use the form below for either a one-off donation or, even better, set up a regular donation and never miss sadaqah on a Friday! To give £3 each Friday, this is the same as £13 per month. (£6 every Friday is £26 per month.)

WAQF FUND

When ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab acquired a piece of land, he asked Prophet Muhammad ﷺ "how best to use it? The Prophet ﷺ advised him to establish it as Waqf (endowment), and give its profit as charity." Muslims use Waqf to build schools, hospitals and mosques, as well as to help the poor and needy. You can do this by donating a portion of your property assets or savings to the MGMC's establishing a Mosque

Building a Masjid in the Marks Gate will allow hundreds of Muslims to own a permanent place of worship instead of renting community halls year after year or even loosing the chance to have a permanent place at all within Marks Gate.
